I was feeling sentimental,

so I sent this to bungie.

Dear Bungie,
I just want to thank you for Halo. I know it is your baby and it has made the name bungie nationally, if not world renown. You started out making 3rd party games for Macs, and now you have created a console selling giant of the gaming industry.
I remember picking up Halo for the first time ever at an Xbox lan party my friend up North hosted, and it was one helluva night. It inspired me to buy an Xbox of my own, and I bought two games for that Xbox. Halo, and Halo 2.
I am a deep down Nintendo fan, I won't deny that, but I caved in a couple of weeks ago and shelled out 400 for an Xbox 360, and preordered my copy of Halo 3.
I know for a fact that 460 dollars for ONE game is worth it. I'm not buying the software, I'm buying the rights to lots of great memories and chances to bond with friends abroad that I would have otherwise forgotten.
So I really just wanted to thank you, for putting all the effort and time into this masterpiece of yours. The hype that has built up around Halo is well deserved, and I know for a fact I'll keep my 360 on standby until I'm much further on in life and am somewhere completely new.

Combat evolved has turned into just that.

Wanna know where you are?

You think I'm here and I'm listening.
But I'm outside sweating yeah glistening.
Living out of body in a beautiful place
it's enough to make you feel the grace
of a god that forgot about the world
Left it out to dry and drown in time
Simple fact of the matter is it cracked and got sour
with each passing second of a minute in a drawn out hour.
Louder, living inside sheltered and warm
Linear life has grown to take form
of a loop in the system, crashing all around
This city is damned and it's name is flower mound.

Erik (killed the elongated moment of bliss)

Aren't you just so jealous
Since God is just so zealous
and nothing is moral
not written not oral
and who isn't innocent
when my existence is fraudulent.
Caught up in synonyms
popping pills just like m&m's.
Just leave me alone
just so dark and alone
take me anywhere but home
hell is where the dead may roam
but that's no where near alone.
Who could find peace within death
draw the air from my breath
suck it out from my chest
die alone like the rest.

My life:

Please let it be something I love.
Please let it be music or words.

Please don't leave me like my parents.
Working for nothing, successful, but for what?

I can't see myself trying to start a life.
Well, a life that's anything short of spectacular.

I can't be something so atrocious and meticulous such as a commoner.
I can't live as what I am not.

So, I dare you to stop me.

I am challenging the universe.

I dare you to stop me from achieving this life.

I'll get there.
