I had a dream about her the other day.
It felt like winter but I knew it to be May.
I was cheating on her with another girl.
We were making out on a bed I'd never seen before.
I was on top of this chick when I heard a knock at the door.
I looked up and she walked on in.
No use, your caught, don't even try to pretend.
I looked at her in the eyes, but lord she did not cry.
I talked to her, I go up and say,
"I dreamed I cheated on you the other day."
She smiles, replies, "In what kind of way?"
"Well it turned out to be you, so you know what that means?
Just as I would have had it, you're the girl of my dreams."

I broke Summer.
It ran outta gas, so here it stops.
With good times past, running from cops.
School is tomorrow, and hopefully one day, college will follow.
But for today I am free, and no one does free quite like me.

Vista.
Okay. After having a generally good time with the OS, I realized that I didn't really need it. At all.
All the features they added were just memory hogs and unnecessary. So I reverted back to XP.
I had a few problems with the audio driver, but I fixed it. I'm not sure if many people could do that on their own without any experience in such things (considering it's windows).
The thing that really pushed me over the edge was it constantly asking me to do things as admin. I wish there was a way to just log in as admin, cuz then I wouldn't have to right click .EXEs in order to run them.
I also wanted a better maphack for Diablo II, and windows vista tries to prevent you from hacking in game, so I'm just not gonna argue with my OS for the rest of eternity.
Better luck next time Windows.

Installing Vista
At first, I was running XP, then I switched to Ubuntu (Feisty Fawn), which is a Linux Distro, and today I decided to switch to Vista.
The vista installation required at least 300 megs of FAT32 formatted hard drive space, so I needed to install Windows XP in order to install Windows Vista. A minor annoyance, but luckily I had the dvd handy.
After briskly installing XP, I popped in my Vista dvd and up comes the screen. It looks much cleaner, and much more intuitive that the XP installation, so I'm glad to see that they have made progress in that at least.
I got an error saying it might have problems with the drivers for my hard drive, but that quickly resolved itself.
I got scared when I noticed in fine print, "Your upgrade may take several hours to complete." but the entire installation only took about 15 minutes to do.
My computer restarted.
The installation continued to install features and updates and then clean up the temporary files. The expanding of the files for windows took another 10 minutes or so, but still felt quick because I was browsing my RSS feeds the whole time.
The computer restarts again to finalize the installation. The boot up screen is real pretty and moves fast yet again.
I'll post tomorrow (or the next day) on usability and versatility of the OS itself.

RATING OF INSTALLATION:
8.0/10
Could have been better, but I still enjoyed the speedy install.

Omfg, I pity anyone who takes part in this.

Honestly, this HAS to be one of the most stupid and ignorant things I have EVER seen.
How the hell do they expect to get anything accomplished when everyone is bitching about something different?
I mean, envision the rallies, one sign will say "IMPEACH BUSH!" and another will say "LEGALIZE MARIJUANA" and then yet another will say "LOWER GAS PRICES".
The point of a strike is the organized power of numbers getting a common point across, not to just bitch and moan all day.
Seriously, I'm gonna go to that rally with a big sign that says:

I have a pretentious thought.
Man: I can hear the length of earshot.
Woman: I can see your eyes are bloodshot.
Man: I know they are, but matter that not.
Woman: Fucking burnout, I ought to know what I sought.
Man: In me? I can't understand why the friction is brought.
Woman: It's your friends, a bunch of fiends, the lot.
Man: I fear I love them dear, however why is not clear.
Woman: They live in a blur, everything is done on a spur. What kind of living is that?

And that is that, and there I sat.
Wordless and burdened, with the lip of this cat.
